Janey Godley shares cancer scan results as daughter reacts to news

Janey Godley has taken to social media on Friday night as she gave a health update to her loyal fleet of fans after receiving her latest cancer scan results as she thanked the NHS and Beatson for all their care.The Scottish comedian captioned her video update: "The scan news is in - me and Ashley laugh and cheer Thanks to the Scottish NHS And everyone at the Beatson I have incurable cancer but it’s treatable.""The scan results are in and there is no change from the scan in November 2023.

So that means no change, doesn't mean I am cured or the cancer has gone away" Janey explained as she updated her followers on Twitter.

She continued: "I am still getting the same treatment so it's a clear scan but I still have terminal cancer." Her daughter Ashley was in the background and appeared in good spirits as she interrupted the video.Ashley asked "did they find my twin?," to which Janey laughed and said "no they never found your twin." "I'm no interested then," Ashley joked back as the pair of them giggled on camera and her daughter gave a 'whooping' reaction to her mum's good news on the scan showing up clear.Janey added: "That's how we react in this house to the bad bad cancer [laughing] so I'm keeping all this in as it's important to know the spirits will always be strong in this madness."
