OTTAWA -- As fair season fast approaches, many annual fairs across the region have been cancelled due to COVID-19. However, the Arnprior Fair has found a way to continue in its 166th year by going virtual.

While there may not be the fair favourites this year such as the midway, a number of classic events will still take place virtually on the fair’s Facebook page and website.

Those events include a Miniature Horse Show, a virtual 4H Miniature Horse Show, a virtual 4H Sheep Show, and an open Sheep Show.

Fair organizers are also encouraging residents and business owners to decorate their front windows, lane ways, and farm gates around town to raise that yearly fair spirit.
