Edinburgh pub has been temporarily closed after a customer tested positive for the coronavirus. The Victoria Bar, on Leith Walk, shut after a regular punter tested positive for the deadly virus.
The customer had just returned from a recent holiday to Malta and alerted bosses who took immediate action to prevent a further spread.
On Sunday a spokesman for Boda Bars, who operate the Victoria Bar and six others in the capital, said it will be shut until next Friday.They explained that all staff that were on duty at the time will now self-quarantine for the next 14 days.It is understood the customer visited the bar between 4.45pm and 6pm on Friday 14 August and did not visit any other establishments in the Leith area that evening.Boda Bars.
