Manchester City being one of the first four clubs to take to the pitch. There have been no fixtures since the start of March due to the coronavirus pandemic, but steady steps to return the players to training have been successful.
The first game of the restart will see Aston Villa take on Sheffield United at 6pm on Wednesday, 17 June, with Man City’s home game against Arsenal taking place just a few hours later at 8.15pm.
The original fixture between City and the Gunners was one of the first games to be suspended due to the outbreak. Arsenal had a few injury worries going into that original fixture with at least three players missing out due to different problems.
