Author Michael Rosen is ‘poorly but stable’ after spending a night in an intensive care unit, his family have said. It is not known whether his condition is related to coronavirus.
The former children’s laureate’s wife Emma-Louise updated fans on his official Twitter account, writing: ‘From Michael’s family: Michael is very poorly at the moment. ‘Having spent a night in ICU, he is now doing “ok, stable, alert” and was able to go to a ward yesterday.
Thank you very much for all your kind concern. Emma x’. Fans and friends have been wishing him well, with Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn writing: ‘Michael our dear friend.
