A 13-day-old baby has become one of the UK's youngest coronavirus victims after dying in a hospital in England. NHS England said the infant had no known underlying health conditions as it announced the heartbreaking news on Thursday.

It is thought that the UK's youngest victim was three-day-old Coolio Carl Justin Morgan, whose mother caught Covid-19. Coolio, from Maesteg in South Wales, died on May 5 after being trasnferred to Singleton hospital in Swansea, an inquest heard last month.

The 13-day-old infant's death was announced as the UK's coronavirus hospital death toll increased by 69 - the lowest rise on a Thursday during the lockdown.
