A couple are to have their baby early so that the dad - who has incurable cancer- can cradle his child. Jamie Hunter and partner Beccy Flint found out they were expecting their first child together last year with a due date of the end of May 2020.

But in October last year teacher Jamie started to suffer a crippling pain in his side. After lots of tests and scans he was finally diagnosed with kidney cancer in March, reports Birmingham Live.

Last month the 38-year-old was told the cancer had spread to his liver and there was no cure. The brave couple, from Sutton Coldfield, have made the decision to deliver their baby on May 10 in the hope Jamie can have the chance to meet and cuddle his newborn.
