A boozed-up cyclist picked fights with care home staff, a dog owner and police officers during a ride through Hamilton.Ian Bell’s bizarre behaviour earned him a seven-month prison sentence at the town’s sheriff court this week.He admitted charges of assault, threatening or abusive behaviour and police assault.The crazy chain of events started as Bell, 34, was cycling along Strathaven Road about 4pm on Tuesday, June 16.Aislinn O’Donnell, prosecuting, said staff were outside Abbeydale Court Care Home when he stopped his bike, approached them and started shouting.They didn’t know him, but for some reason he was acting aggressively towards them.
