Bottles have been thrown at police during tense scenes outside No.10 Downing Street while Prime Minister Boris Johnson delivered the daily coronavirus press briefing.
There have been largely peaceful Black Lives Matter throughout central London earlier today, joining international protests over US police brutality that led to the death of George Floyd more than a week ago in Minneapolis.
But footage captured outside No.10 at around 5.30pm, while Boris Johnson was making his televised address, shows police arresting at least two people as the crowds throw bottles and other objects at officers.
Other protesters, some holding placards, are seen climbing on Downing Street's gates. It is believed the confrontation has since calmed down.
