A Berkshire care home has found an ingenious way for their vulnerable residents to see their families during the coronavirus pandemic.
Gracewell of Ascot care home hosted a drive-through event on Bank Holiday Monday so people could see their relatives at a safe distance from their cars.
Family members waved and called from their cars, some holding up signs for them to read that expressed how much they missed each other.
The residents looked delighted as they watched from a safe distance. The event had been carefully designed to ensure everyone stayed at least two metres apart.
