A daughter has described the emotional moment she finally got to see her dad in his care home after weeks apart due to the UK lockdown.
Sue Walsh has not been able to see her father Johnny for more than three months as his care home, in Urmston, closed to protect residents from Covid-19 on March 11.
During the lockdown period staff at Faversham Care Home have made sure families have kept in touch through video calls and posts on Facebook.
However, Sue said it is not the same as meeting up in person and Johnny, 84, struggles to sit up to speak as he suffers from spondylitis, a type of arthritis which affects the spine.
