A carer broke down in tears when completing her final shift after being sacked for refusing the coronavirus vaccine. Louise Akester, 36, has spent the last three years working at Alderson House in Hull, but has worked in the care sector for 14 years.

However, she has now had her contract terminated due to new government requirements.
