Ex-Corrie star Catherine Tyldesley keeps a lifesize cardboard cutout of herself from before she lost six stone. The actress, 36, drew criticism for describing the image as “fat Cath” and shuddering as she unearthed the cutout from her garage.
She responded: “I’m calling myself fat because I was. I was greedy. I ate junk. I was unhealthy. "Curves are beautiful… I love mine.
But there’s no skirting around the fact at this point in MY life, I consider- ed myself fat.” As a teenager, Catherine wore a size 22.
She’s now a size 8-10. Speaking on Loose Women back in 2018, Catherine admitted she considered opting for a gastric band surgery after struggling to control her weight as a teenager.
