READING, Pa. - Authorities in Berks County are continuing to investigate the cause of death of a 26-day-old infant that posthumously tested positive for COVID-19.The infant passed away at Reading Hospital on Sunday, July 19 shortly after she was admitted.She was tested for COVID-19 on Monday, July 20 and positive results were returned on Thursday.The coroner's office says the cause or manner of death has yet to be determined as they awaited the results of a full toxicology report and various other tests done through the autopsy."It is too early to say with medical certainty that the death is either from or related to COVID-19," read a release from the Berks County Coroner's Office.___AdvertisementRELATED COVERAGE:___For the latest local.
