CHARLIE Brooker doubts the public ‘would be able to stomach’ a Black Mirror season six ‘about societies falling apart’ after coronavirus.
The 49-year-old created the dystopian anthology series - which currently airs on Netflix - with the last season released in June last year.
While the show has been hugely popular with viewers since it first began in 2011, Charlie doesn't think the show's style and approach would be appealing in the current climate as the world battles coronavirus.
Speaking to the Radio Times, Charlie said: "I’ve been busy, doing things. I don’t know what I can say about what I’m doing and not doing. "At the moment, I don’t know what stomach there would be for stories about societies falling apart, so I’m not working away.
