The Coronavirus vaccine was originally intended to be distributed to senior White House officials early and there were a lot of thoughts about this from the general public. John Ullyot, National Security Council spokesman, initially revealed that “senior officials across all three branches of government will receive vaccinations pursuant to continuity of government protocols established in executive policy.” Many slammed this decision.
A few hours later, Donald Trump actually said this wouldn’t happen, writing, “People working in the White House should receive the vaccine somewhat later in the program, unless specifically necessary.
