Clevid Dikamona won't be returning to Hearts after posting an emotional farewell to the club on social media on Sunday. The French defender had hoped to return to Tynecastle for next season after explaining to in an exclusive interview about his ambition to keep playing for the club, even if they didn't manage to stay in the Premiership.
But he's now confirmed on his Twitter account that he won't be re-signing for the club after agreeing to terminate his deal with the coronavirus crisis struck.
He was the only player to take that option when owner Ann Budge requested pay cuts and he did so because he wanted to return to France to be with his family during the pandemic.
