Shobna Gulati has revealed that she is still battling the effects of Covid-19 more than a year after she contracted the virus.The former Coronation Street star, 54, who played the role of Sunita Alahan on the soap, shared the update on her ongoing battle with coronavirus after she contracted it back in March 2020.The ITV soap star, whose co-star Georgia May Foote has recently retrained as a nail technician, took to Twitter on Saturday to share how she has been coping with the infectious illness, after she informed fans how she “struggled to breathe” when she was first diagnosed.
Shobna responded to a tweet from journalist Kathryn Bromwich who warned young people of the damaging effects of contracting the virus as the UK slowly removes.
