Asda has announced it's changing its opening hours to allow shoppers to visit stores at quieter times throughout the day. The supermarket shared the news on social media, telling customers trading hours between Monday to Saturday would be extended.

From Wednesday, stores will be open for longer across the UK. It comes after the supermarket giant temporarily reduced trading times to help cope with demand last month, following a surge in panic-buying and stockpiling.

Posting on Twitter, Asda told shoppers: "Most of our stores are now open for longer to allow you more time to shop with us. "Stores will now be open Monday to Saturday 8am to 10pm.
