At least 223 people with coronavirus have now died in hospitals in Greater Manchester. That's an increase of 15 deaths in 24 hours, NHS England data published today showed.
In the UK there have been a total of 4,934 coronavirus-related deaths in hospitals - an increase of 621 in the last 24 hours - the Department for Health said.
NHS England figures are published for each hospital trust. They show more people have died at Salford Royal Hospital than at any other in Greater Manchester.
For the second day running, there were no new coronavirus-related deaths at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. There were also no further deaths reported at Bolton NHS Foundation Trust and Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Foundation Trust.
