Madonna called coronavirus the "great equaliser" in a bizarre rant. The singer, 61, made sensational claims the killer bug made everyone "equal in many ways" because it doesn't care how rich or famous or funny or smart or how old someone is.
In the rant, Madonna said the deadly virus had no discrimination while it was wiping out people all over the globe. She said: "That's the thing about COVID-19, it doesn't care about how rich you are or how famous you are, how funny you are, how smart you are, where you live, how old you are, what amazing stories you can tell.
Madonna praised coronavirus for "making us all equal" but she recognised it was the unpredictable nature of the virus' victims which also made it "terrible".
