Coronavirus 'may not have started in China' claims Oxford University expert

Dr Tom Jefferson instead claimed Covid-19 may have already been established around the world thanks to environmental conditions.The disease first emerged in Wuhan, China, at the end of last year and has since gone on to kill more than 500,000.But Dr Jefferson, a senior associate tutor at the Centre of Evidence-Based Medicine (CEBM), believes there is growing evidence it was already elsewhere by this point.
