Frontline NHS workers battling the coronavirus are furious that Prince Charles was tested despite only having mild symptoms.

The Prince of Wales has tested positive for COVID-19 and is self-isolating at home with "mild symptoms that are not expected to become more serious".

Clarence House said that 71-year-old and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall were both tested by the NHS Aberdeenshire "where they met the criteria required for testing".

But news that both were tested has been met with anger from NHS workers on the frontline who aren't being tested. Doctors and nurses say they risk infecting patients and their families and they may needlessly have to isolate at home meaning they are unable to care for the sick.
