Prince Charles breaks silence on coronavirus battle in powerful video and calls pandemic a 'strange and distressing' time

Prince Charles, 71, has spoken out on his coronavirus diagnosis after coming out of self-isolation on Monday in a new video message shared on the Clarence House Instagram account.

In an uplifting video filmed at his residence in Scotland, Birchall, The Prince of Wales said the pandemic is a “strange, frustrating and often distressing experience”, but praised key and NHS workers who are tirelessly fighting against the virus sweeping the nation.

Prince Charles said that it is important to “live with hope and with faith” in the three minute message which sees him sitting at a desk.
