World Health Organization (WHO) emergencies programme director Dr. Michael Ryan said on Wednesday that as protests continue in various U.S.
states due to the ongoing stay-at-home measures amid the COVID-19 pandemic, all levels of government must be consistent with their messaging about why the measures are needed in order to reassure people why they should remain at home.
He said while they recognize the issues and understand the frustration, by maintaining a dialogue and re-engaging with communities often both by governments but also community leaders, it can hopefully help people understand the importance..
