U.S. President Donald Trump continued to tout the benefits of Hydroxychloroquine, during a daily briefing of the U.S. Coronavirus Task Force, telling reporters “you’re not going to die from this pill” but adding that there could be some side effects.

Trump also said he wanted doctors to recommend it as a treatment for COVID-19. Public health officials in both the U.S. and Canada do not yet recommend hydroxychloroquine as a treatment for COVID-19..
