Nicola Sturgeon has announced the level of coronavirus restrictions for each local authority area in Scotland from this weekend.
At midnight on Friday going into Saturday, a number of areas will see restrictions eased to level one or zero while others will stay in level two for a longer period of time.
It was good news for the people and businesses of Glasgow, as the city gears up to join the majority of the country in level two restrictions.
Scotland’s largest city has been the only part of the country stuck in level three lockdown for just over two weeks.Testing for Covid has been ramped up in the city, while the vaccination programme has been accelerated in recent days in a bid to stop the spread of the virus.The move down to level two.
