A number of people have been arrested and missiles were thrown at gardaí after several public order incidents in Dublin city centre tonight.
The Garda Public Order Unit and uniformed gardaí blocked access to South William Street, near Grafton Street, where large crowds gathered last weekend Gardaí said they have dispersed people in a number of locations.
They told RTÉ News that they are still dealing with big crowds - including a large number of juveniles - in the south city centre.
Gardaí said they are continuing to patrol the city centre. Earlier today, authorities appealed to people to show "responsibility" while socialising outdoors this weekend.
