Manchester city centre restaurant closes after positive Covid-19 case

Kala Bistro on King Street will close its doors "until next week" with bosses saying they hope the impact "will be limited".

Kala, which opened in 2018, is the sixth instalment to the Elite Bistros portfolio after Sticky Walnut, Burnt Truffle, Hispi, Wreckfish and Pinion.

Those with bookings affected by the closure will be contacted today, Kala said. The Elite Bistros team posted a statement to Kala's social media pages, which reads: "We’re so sorry to let you know we will be closing Kala from today until next week after
