A further 12 people have died from Coronavirus in Scotland bringing the death toll to 2,375. The Scottish Government confirmed the number of cases has increased to 15,471 a rise of 53 from yesterday.
A total of 1168 people are in hospital, while the number of people in intensive care sits at 34.The update comes as restrictions have been eased across the country.On Thursday last week, Nicola Sturgeon announced plans for Phase 1 of easing lockdown in Scotland.
The First Minister handed the country a welcome boost ahead of the weekend by announcing households will be free to meet one other as long as they are outdoors and stay two metres apart.
