One new coronavirus death has been reported in Scotland as the number of patients battling the disease in Ayrshire hospitals continues to fall.Latest figures from the Scottish Government show 2,448 people have died of COVID-19 since the pandemic began.The disease seems to be on the wane both nationally and regionally with just one new reported case in Ayrshire in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 1,088.NHS Ayrshire and Arran reported that just five patients are in their hospitals with confirmed coronavirus - down one on yesterday's figures.There are fewer than five people in intensive care with confirmed or suspected coronavirus.To date, 137,638 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS labs to date with 15,755 testing.
