One million students could trigger a coronavirus second wave by moving around the country when they return to university, unions fear.
The academics' union UCU is urging universities to scrap face-to-face teaching until Christmas to avoid a second wave. It described the prospect of more than a million students moving around the country in September when they return as "a recipe for disaster".
