A couple who were married for 76 years have died after battling "grand old age" and coronavirus. Jean and Richard Guest, who met thanks to a chance meeting in 1942 after Richard crashed his motorbike outside Jean's house, recently died within 15 days of each other.
Richard, 95, died with coronavirus while Jean, 97, died of "grand old age", reports Hull Live. The couple had two children, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and have been described as "devoted" grandparents by their daughter Nikki Guest-Walmsley.
