A couple who spent two decades renovating their dream home now fear the property could end up being worthless after nasty surprise.
The stunning 16th century home has been restored over a period of 20 years, however the duo is now worried after plans were unveiled to build a quarry next door.
Barbara, 54, and Simon Campbell, 57, bought the house in 1999 for £270,000, reports Mirror Online. The Grade 11-listed manor house was bought surrounded with 15 acres of land.
Council bosses are now set to approve proposals for a quarry 100 yards away to extract a million tons of sand. Barbara, and Simon may be powerless due to planning permission dating back more than 50 years.
