People caught out committing crimes generally don't like it when they are exposed in the media. And sometimes they go the extra mile to try and avoid being put in the limelight.

It is a well known that photographers often take pictures of people as they enter or leave the court building. UK law bans photographers from taking pictures or videos from inside the courtroom, unlike some countries such as the United States.

So people often come up with pre-planned, or more off the cuff ways to try and avoid photographers. In most cases they don't succeed, but some are more successful than others.
