Covid-19 cluster in Tayside with one case linked to Aberdeen outbreak

Covid-19 cases has been identified in north-east Angus. NHS Tayside chiefs revealed that five positive cases, which are all connected, were discovered.

One of those five people are linked to the cluster in Aberdeen. Another 54 people have been identified as contacts and are being advised to self-isolate.No individual premises, business or establishment is linked to the cluster.So far, all of those who tested positive are only showing mild symptoms of the deadly bug.NHS Tayside Associate Director of Public Health Dr Daniel Chandler said, “Five positive cases, which are all connected, have been identified, with one having a direct link to the outbreak in Aberdeen."All of the positive cases have mild symptoms and none has required any medical.
