Indian railways on Tuesday said it is gearing up to make 1,000 personal protective equipments (PPEs) for doctors and paramedics, treating and taking care of patients suffering from covid-19 at railway hospitals.
Towards this, the national transporter said it has got a nod from Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) to manufacture PPEs. “A coverall produced by Jagadhari workshop was recently cleared by a DRDO lab, authorised for the purpose.
