Covid-19 restrictions - Here's what's new from today and beyond

The easing of restrictions brought in to contain the spread of Covid-19 has been accelerated with what has been termed "Phase 2+" beginning today, here's what you need to know about the changes. Phase 2 Plus (8 June) Everything outlined in Phase 2 has been given the green light while some of Phase 3 has been brought forward.  Stay Local: You may travel within your own county, and up to 20 kilometres from your home if crossing county boundaries. Meeting other people: You may meet up to six people from outside your household both indoors and outdoors for social gatherings. Sports: Organised outdoor exercise, sporting, cultural or social activities of up to 15 people may take place.
