There have been three further deaths from coronavirus, bringing the total number of deaths here to 1,752, the Department of Health has confirmed.
There were 34 confirmed additional cases of Covid-19. There is now a total of 25,730 confirmed cases of the disease in Ireland.
This includes the denotification of two confirmed cases. It has been another day with no further virus deaths recorded in Northern Ireland, where the official death toll remains at 556.
There were 19 new cases, taking the total to 5,834 Earlier today, the Oireachtas Special Committee on Covid-19 heard that the resumption of some day services for people with intellectual disabilities may not happen until December or January next year.
