A Salford salon owner has revealed how he plans to operate his business after lockdown. Customers can expect to wear PPE and sit between plastic dividers when Avesta Hair and Beauty Salon eventually reopens to the public.

The business was forced to close in March when non-essential shops were asked to shut due to the coronavirus outbreak. It is hoped the Salford Quays firm can reopen its doors on July 4 – but co-owner Amin Ramshini fears it could be longer than that.

The 31-year-old, who runs the firm with his wife Anita, revealed the salon will operate at around 50 per cent capacity once open.

Appointments will be made by booking only and walk-ins will not be accepted. Staff will wear face masks and face shields while clients will wear

Tequila could become America’s favorite liquor, data trends show

General Declaration on the Protection of the Appellation of Origin Tequila, as put forth by Mexico’s Tequila Regulatory Council. Tequila popularity has been steadily growing since 2002 and in 2021 alone, 26.9 million 9-liter cases of tequila were sold, according to the Distilled Spirits Council.
