A traumatised dad has told of how he was forced to hear his toddler's cancer diagnosis over the phone as covid restrictions meant he wasn't allowed to be by her side.
Joshua Crombie and girlfriend Ellouise Wallbanks were at home when they spotted that 19-month-old Florence had bruises on her legs and purple pin-prick dots all over her body.
Knowing they wouldn't both be allowed to accompany their only child into hospital during lockdown, Joshua waited at home in Sunbury, Surrey, while mum Ellouise took her in.
Little Florence had already been back and forth to the doctors after a lump on her temple, which was the size of a small pea, grew to the width of a ping-pong ball.
