Dr. Vera Etches issued a statement on Sunday and said there is evidence of community spread of COVID-19. “We are starting to see cases among health-care workers who have not travelled or been a close contact of a confirmed case,” she wrote. “Our efforts are needed as a community.

Tequila could become America’s favorite liquor, data trends show

General Declaration on the Protection of the Appellation of Origin Tequila, as put forth by Mexico’s Tequila Regulatory Council. Tequila popularity has been steadily growing since 2002 and in 2021 alone, 26.9 million 9-liter cases of tequila were sold, according to the Distilled Spirits Council.
