Police are searching for a teenage boy who went missing more than a week ago after finding out his A-level exams were cancelled due to coronavirus.
Oliver Strode, 17, told his dad he was going hacking in a forest but never returned. His family suspect he may have gone missing on purpose so he could have a go at surviving in the forest after it was revealed he had recorded a series of “Bushcraft Bible” videos on how to survive in the wild.
However, senior police investigators said they were not ruling out third party involvement and said the restrictive circumstances the country is now under to stop the spread of coronavirus is hampering the search.
