Digital readership of Britain's newspapers has soared by more than a third in the last year, with an extra 6.6 million readers every day, according to new data.
More than 25 million people are now turning to digital national news brands every single day. Across print and digital, national news readership grew by 18 per cent to surpass 30 million daily readers for the first time.
The figures were compiled by PAMco (Publishers Audience Measurement Company), the governing body for audience measurement in the published media industry.
