Disability Scoop (6/23, Young) reports Disability Rights Nebraska and at least seven other state organizations “have filed a letter of complaint with the U.S.
Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights over Test Nebraska access for people with disabilities.” The complaint “offered stories of people shut out of testing because of their disabilities.” Specifically, many residents with disabilities have allegedly been prevented from receiving diagnostic tests for the coronavirus because they were not able to independently travel to and access a testing site in the state.
