A BMW driver made a 100-mile round trip from Manchester to Leeds to get some food with his pals during the coronavirus lockdown.
The motorist flouted government rules to stay indoors - instead deciding to pick up TWO friends for the unnecessary journey.
He was stopped by traffic police in West Yorkshire, who said they were 'amazed' by his actions. Both the driver of the white BMW and the passengers he picked up have been 'dealt with', the force tweeted.
In the post, WYP Road Policing Unit wrote: "The driver of this vehicle has totally amazed me. "He lives in Manchester, picked a friend up near Manchester and has driven to Leeds to pick a further friend up to go and get food. "All three persons have been dealt with.
