The Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy have been declared as key workers by the New Zealand Prime Minister. Children had been concerned they would not be able to visit their homes, due to the coronavirus lockdown.
But Jacinda Ardern confirmed during her press conference today that the two important figures would be exempt from the country's lockdown.
Mrs Ardern clarified that the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy carry out essential tasks, so they are allowed to carry on their vital work.
But she did warn that the bunny might not be able to visit every household this Easter. She said: "As you can imagine at this time, they're going to potentially be quite busy at home with their family as well and their own bunnies. "So I say to the children
