The Prime Minister of New Zealand has assured children that both the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy were essential workers during the Covid-19 pandemic.
During a press conference in Wellington, Jacinda Ardern was asked whether any exemption was being considered for the Easter Bunny during the country's strict lockdown due to the coronavirus outbreak. "Yes, you'll be pleased to know that we do consider both the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny to be essential workers," she said.
