Ryan McGinnis, has paid tribute to his father after it was announced comedian Eddie Large died today, age 78, from heart failure after contracting coronavirus in hospital.
The Glaswegian comedian, whose real name was Edward McGinnis, died in the early hours of this morning after complications due to coronavirus.
Eddie rose to fame in the early 70s as part of the legendary comedy-duo Little and Large, along with comic Syd Little. Taking to Facebook this morning, his only son penned a heartbreaking tribute to his father, who "fought so bravely for so long".
