Comedian Eddie Large died today at the age of 78 from coronavirus in hospital. The legendary funnyman was treated for heart failure, his family said.
Eddie shot to fame as "Large" in comedy duo "Little and Large," alongside pal Syd Little. The partnership spanned five decades after originally being formed in 1971.
In recent years, Eddie had stayed fairly out of the spotlight, but he had been keeping his fans up to date on his Twitter page.
Eddie's Twitter page has 1,958 followers and is blue tick verified. The bio reads: "Been supporting MCFC for 67 years during which time I have had Peritonitus, gout, stroke, heart attack and a heart transplant.
